What a comfort that Bible verse is to me right now.

I walked down the aisle to this song 6 months ago.
It brings tears to my eyes because
absolutely nothing compared to the smile on my
husband's face as I walked each step closer to him,
ready to begin our life as husband and wife forever.
If only we could go back in time and re-live moments,
that's one I would live over and over again, it was truly amazing.
I miss him with every ounce of me and
would give anything to see that smile right now.
I hold this song very dear to my heart because of the
smile I see when it begins to play.

    I know how you feel :) Have you hear Rascal Flatts - "I Melt"? that song also reminds me of my boyfriend's smile. it's one that i will forever keep a mental picture of and will place it in my heart

    The piano is simply beautiful.. I fully appreciate music like this! If I was in your situtation and listened to this song.. I'm sure it would make me cry every time.

    This is such a sweet post. Im sorry for your pain and how much you miss him. I grew up in a military family, my dad was in the marine corp and I remember my mom feeling the same way.

    beautiful song, and even more beautiful memory! they can be so bittersweet, those moments that we cherish but that seem far away when the deployment starts. thankfully, they'll also keep you motivated for the day he comes home. :)

    I LOVE this song !! my little brother can play this exceptionally well on the piano, when he showed his talents on the piano I knew I was done playing.

    I've never heard this song, and am in love! Than you for sharing it with us, and what a special memory! I just remember being so nervous, and then seeing my husbands face as he watched me- and everything felt ok all of a sudden. I would live that moment over and over too!
